This adventurous couple knew that a traditional wedding wasn’t for them. Before heading down to fortress for their wedidng ceremony they booked into Canmores Bear & bison Inn (Great wedding venue) The bride is an avid hiker who has tackled both the Appalachian Trail and the Great Divide Trail — no stranger to the rugged beauty of nature. The groom, a US Army tank operator, had a strong pull toward the idea of a snowcat-access elopement. When they found out about Fortress Mountain, where you ride up the slopes in a snowcat to get to your ceremony location, they were instantly hooked.
